File name: eul306.exe (August 19, 1998 | 4,612,938 bytes) is a self installing archive file. This file is enormous because it contains both 16-bit and 32-bit versions of Eudora. A manual in Adobe's PDF (eul3man1.pdf | March 26, 1997 | 683,296 bytes) format is also available.

You may wish to start reading about Eudora at the Eudora home page, or you can go directly to the Eudora Light page.

Installation:

  1. Copy the file EUL306.EXE to a temporary directory, for instance C:\INSTALL.
  2. Execute EUL306.EXE by double-clicking on the file.
  3. The Install Shield Wizard will choose whether to install the 16-bit or 32-bit version on your system and ask for verification of its choice. It will then guide you through the installation, including browsing your disk for an existing Eudora installation which may be overwritten if you so choose. (Your existing mailboxes and preferences will be preserved).
  4. Once Eudora is running, select Tools Options from the menu bar to supply the required configuration information and to set options of your choice.
  5. The file EUDORA.INI and other configuration files will be created in the directory where you put the program files.
